Peruvian photographer with 14 years of experience focusing on portraits and collaborations with organizations. Passionate about capturing authentic stories with warmth and a connection to nature. Based in Somerville, MA.
My interest and passion for photography was born almost two decades ago, right alongside my obsession with rock climbing. Photography and climbing quickly became two of the central tenets of my life, and have allowed me to meet incredible people and amazing places. I dedicated myself to becoming a professional photographer, and have worked in this profession for over a decade.
For 11 years while working in Peru, my home country, I had the opportunity to document the work of NGOs in rural communities, cover sporting events, and produce stock photos and commercial photos for sporting brands, outdoors stores, and other clothing brands.
Working for 3 years in a professional printing lab and for 7 years as a teaching assistant in Illumination and Photography at the Centro de la Imagen in Peru, I developed a keen eye for how to capture and maipulate natural and artifical light. One of the aspects that most excites me about photography is how to play with light.
Since 2021, I am based in Somerville, MA. I work as a freelance photographer specializing in portraits, non-profit organizations and commercial photography for entrepreneurs and small business owners.
